Itinerary
Day 1:
Depart Bangkok by air-conditioned minibus 7.00a.m to Umphang. Or flight option from Bangkok 10.10 to arrive Mae Sot 12.25 with visit to the Burmese border and transfer to Umphang. Stay at Umphang Hill Resort.
Day 2:
Rafting the Mae Khlong river, lunch at hot springs, raft downstream to riverside beach, Overnight camping.
Day 3:
Raft river and rapids to rendezvous point, overnight camping in the jungle.
Day 4:
Trek out with equipment using elephants to Zapala, transfer via logging trail to Umphang, overnight Umphang Hill Resort cabins.
Day 5:
7.30a.m Depart Umphang return to Bangkok via minibus or transfer to Mae Sot for flight departing 12.55.
